Description
The large male tag is used in the majority of our tag combinations, and suits all cattle types and breeds. Great long term management tag for breeders.
It works particularly well with great visibility from any direction upside down as a 'High Tag' option in dairy herds.
Recommendations for Cattle:
Temperate:
- Female Tag Recommendation: Can be paired with the ETF3 to ETF6 tags
- Age at Application: When paired with the ETF3 to ETF4 can be applied at marking. With the ETF5 to ETF6 it is recommended to wait until weaning
Dairy:
- Female Tag Recommendation: Can be paired with the ETF3 to ETF6 tags, the high tag option is popular for dairy cattle
- Age at Application: When paired with the ETF3 to ETF5 can be applied at weaning. ETF5s with the high tag option and paired with ETF6s should be applied to yearlings and onwards
Tropical:
- Female Tag Recommendation: Can be paired with the ETF3 and ETF4 tags
- Age at Application: Can be applied from branding
